Ten.Ten.Fit

Guidelines

It seems much easier to take action than to stop doing something or deprive yourself. I mean, if you give me a list of foods to avoid, I become absolutely obsessed.  Fruits allowed in moderation?  What the heck does that mean?

The Ten.Ten.Fit program was developed to make you stop obsessing and enjoy life! The guidelines are simple: Do at least ten positive things for yourself every day including at least one new thing per day. Most diets try to get you to form new habits.  Habits make life easier, but you also run the risk of becoming a hamster on a wheel … you are moving, but not going anywhere.

On this plan, you must do something new every day. Doing something new will help you learn, live and grow.  That’s how you get younger.  I promise to post my diary most days so you can see what I am up to.

Rule – Food is a big part of this program.  Writing, “I didn’t eat sugar” is ok, but doesn’t count toward the ten positive things you do for yourself every day.  Deprivation is not action.  Instead, write, I roasted celery and ate it for a snack!  I swear it’s yum!
