This is my very first blog post, with my commitment to share my ten.ten.fit journey. I have a few positive things that I try to do every day, so I hope I don’t bore you. The “New” stuff – like writing a blog, is where I hope it gets more interesting.
Diary 10.20.20
- Fitness: Worked out for 55 minutes – 30 stairs/15 min rowing/5 minutes lunges with a medicine ball
- Cleanse: Drank Lemon Water
- Took my vitamins
- Breakfast: Air fried pineapple
- Lunch: Sweet Potato and Instant Pot Beef Bourguignon
- Love: Called my daughter to tell her I loved her
- Giving: Sent my son an Abs Dolly and a Medicine ball to help his workout
- Learning: Read the Oct 10th quote from Robin Sharma’s Daily Inspiration, “Without self-discipline, you will not set clear goals, manage your time effectively, treat people well, persist through the tough times, care for your health or think positive thoughts.

- New: Started a blog
- New: Took my man’s daughter and her friend to Uchi Sushi in Denver for her birthday
Lemon Juice + Water
I learned all about lemon juice on the Master Cleanse. I lost 21 lbs in ten days and feinted. Next, I ate a bagel and threw up. I then drank the recommended orange juice and gained ten lbs back in a day. After thirty days, I was back to my pre-cleanse weight.
That was NOT a success, but I learned a few things about the magical power of lemons. Lemon juice is a great source of Vitamin C, Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron and B-vitamins. Lemon water has an alkalizing effect on the body. Since disease is more likely to occur when the body pH is acidic, you are giving your body an immunity boost.
There are plenty of lemon water recipes online. I just squeeze organic lemons until I have a 1/4 cup. Then I use the lemon juice all day in my water or on my skin to help prevent age spots, wrinkles and saggy skin. I just use a cotton ball to dab the juice on my face and neck before moisturizing to let the vitamin C go to work. It’s far less expensive than buying vitamin C serum and works 10x better.
